| I remember thinking that the 1st act was quite slow, but that that it picked up and found its rhythm after the 1st interval. So I ended up rather enjoying it, but I had never seen the play before, so I didn't have much to compare it to (I saw the awful musical on Broadway in 2015, but that was a bit of a hazy blur). Agree that 3.5 hours was unnecessary though. |
