Reading about Karen singing ''Colored Lights'' reminds me that I also saw her in ''And the World Goes 'Round,'' the Off-Broadway 1991 Kander & Ebb show.
It won the Drama Desk for Outstanding Revue, and besides Karen, the terrific cast starred Karen Ziemba, Robert Cuccioli, Brenda Pressley and Jim Walton.
However, my favorite Karen Mason song is ''I Wanna Be Around [to Pick Up the Pieces],'' which she once sang at my birthday cabaret show at Eighty Eight's. |
