''Hedwig and the Angry Inch'' & ''Gutenberg! The Musical'' had not been on Broadway prior to their 2014 & 2023 stagings; they were up for Musical Revival.
Off-Broadway, ''Floyd Collins'' played in 1996 and ''The Last Five Years'' in 2002. Both have quite a history of being done regionally and internationally.
I'd imagine that the Tony Administration Committee will rule both shows part of the ''popular'' theater repertoire and therefore eligible for Musical Revival. |
