Policies probably changed after the pandemic. I’ve linked a Forbes article after Covid for various insurance denials and payments. I assume the language in policies has changed in the last few years. Even without insurance, the grosses during previews were excellent at $1.6 and $1.8. With the solid reviews I would think those numbers would be sustained even during the slow winter months. It’s probably a blip on total grosses for the entire production. 3 performances this weekend would probably cover the weekly costs even without insurance. |
