| Seems like it's been a really really bad season for respiratory illness. I had mentioned yesterday that back in November I had been diagnosed with walking pneumonia (I'm fine now except for a lingering cough). I was in the hospital for a day, then transferred to home care. One of the doctors at the hospital used the word "rampant" to describe similar cases he was seeing. Also, lots of my students needing to be out of class for a day or two with lesser illnesses, but a lot of them. Understudies going on for ill folks in both shows I did this fall. And still some Covid cases too. And that's just Boston - I have to imagine NYC has been pretty bad too. |
