Actor's resumés are often riddled with mistakes, the product, I suppose, of agency assistants who may not all have an equally-broad knowledge of theatre history. And many actors aren't any better so they don't catch them. And the same is true for a lot of marketing folks in theatres. (The number of errors is very very small, admittedly. I'm not implying it's a big issue LOL.)
You're right about the Muny. It ain't the Municipal University of New York. (Geva Theatre in Rochester NY used to spell its name GeVa because it was short for "Gennessee Valley"; they changed it 30 years ago but you still see the GeVa spelling in some older actors' bios.) |
