I'm glad the production seems fresh and enjoyable - for those of you going, "what? another run of Annie?" ;-)
I do wish, though, that this critic would do better than just to mention the designers and others in the creative team by "afterthought-ing" them (for lack of a better term, but I think it's an apt description) in parenthesis at the end of paragraphs. It's a bad habit that she does way too often in this review. (The NYT critic covering this production is Laura Collins-Hughes.)
