I noticed this even on the clip from "What is this feeling" from the TV special -- the SFX of the clothes and fabrics being swooped was SO LOUD - as well as doors being slammed and opened and then when the chorus joins in and starts dancing EVERY DAMN STEP of the dance is a loud aggressive foot stamp -- like every chorus song is a clogging number! There's even a big swoosh sound effect when all the ensemble turns their head on the same beat
It's definitely a stylistic choice, but I wish someone had just said, "OK, take all those levels down about 30% before release, please" |
