Rory Kinnear played Macheath in the National's revival of The Threepenny Opera a few years ago; he apparently sang in choirs as a teenager but these days is definitely an actor-who-sings. There's a voice, but it's a bit rough around the edges (which worked very well for Macheath). Musically, Leo Brink is probably a better fit for him than Raffael.
