I have it on the best authority, yes. "Dead Outlaw" was chosen over "Glengarry" to play the Longacre (which is a perfect theatre for the Mamet play). But "Dead Outlaw is hoping for an open run and the Shuberts took the potentially better tenant. There is literally no avaialble theatre for "Glengarry" unless "It's A Wonderful World" is asked to leave Studio 54, or exits voluntarily before the "Glengarry" sets are built. |
