| The revival of the Shaw play managed to run 20 previews and 12 official performances at the Palace in 1977. It might have run longer with a different actor named Elizabeth, but at 45 Taylor might have been a little too mature to play the kittenish Cleopatra, but then again maybe not since Harrison was a 69-ish Caesar. | |
