| I sat in the first row of the balcony for the original dolly with Carol Channing, and it was a great seat at least at the time I thought. She got 14 curtain calls Never…never saw the like. When did they stop Raising and lowering the curtain. It was so dramatic and so wonderful. Unfortunately, nowadays, there are few people who would deserve someone raising and lowering the curtain 14 times. |
