After some excellent reviews, this sleeper which hadn't really been promoted very much and wasn't very much on people's theater radar, is building bigger audiences through terrific word of mouth. Wonderful show! If they ever need an alternate over at the incoming Bobby Darin musical, Dez Duron has the swoon-worthy voice and style down pat already. Lovely music in the traditional style, and as I've told friends, it's a paradox that the most original and human musical I've seen in years is about robots. But it is, and the show is beautifully staged and very moving, too.
