| Has there ever been a more beautifully designed show on Broadway? Not that I've seen in the past 60 years. Has there ever been an out-of-left-field musical as enchanting as this one? Not that I can remember. Darren Criss and Helen J Shen are perfection, as are Dez Duron and Marcus Choi. I wasn't sure I wanted to see a musical about outmoded robots and you're probably thinking the same thing. Stop thinking that. Go to the Belasco and see something so lovely, so profound, that you walk away feeling better about yourself. Maybe not humming the tunes but reassessing your life. I'm not a shill for this show. I was a skeptical ticket buyer who read the review in the Times. Please please go. | |
