They were considering a 2024 release after test screenings in September but that would have left very little time to make a deal with a distributor and ramp up a marketing/awards campaign. We'll have to see which distributor picks it up and how they fit it in to their schedule but I would think a Q4 2025 release is what the producers are aiming for.
Probably too early to speculate on how Lopez's connection with Sean Combs would affect the release unless/until more information comes out. A Plummer/Spacey-style switcheroo would be complicated by the fact that Lopez is also an executive producer via her production company. |
