I saw it at least 20 years ago. I didn't think it was the worst thing in the world, but it was sort of a waste of time.
Now, I want to re-view it knowing what I do about it. (I went to the last Bway revival of CATS with the same attitude and realized my original opinion of the show was correct. Thankful the fantastic drag version has replaced it in my memory.)
