As far as I can tell the author of this (Sara Bahr) is not a critic at the Times. She is a culture reporter. She wrote the other Times puff piece about SUNSET, the one about 'Joe's" walk on 44th street singing 'Sunset Boulevard', one of the perhaps stupidest moments in Broadway musical theatre history.

Her articles over recent months have included: BEHIND THE SCENES WITH OUR THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE REPORTER (where she interviews another Times reporter); AULI'U CRAVALHO IS MORE THAN A DISNEY PRINCESS; YOUR GUIDE TO NEW YORK'S HOLIDAY WINDOWS; READING WITH EXTRA CHEESE;REMEMBERING PIZZA HUT'S BOOK IT'; HOW TO GET YOUR KIDS TO READ> GIVE THEM PIZZA.

This is a gushing fan-girl article. Of a fan-girl who loves the dismal 1998 musical NOTRE DAME DE PARIS. You know. The one with music by Riccardo Cocciante. In July 2023 she wrote a love letter fan girl article in the Times about how she loved this show during its brief NY run.
