I thought they modified the line about bleeding to ‘discomfort…you know…back there’ and true, having her stand is certainly the less awkward option.
I liked the Jesus ‘Surprise’ moment as well and was sorry to see it go.
I liked the new opening of Act Two in NYC which was a better set-up to the song (and the fact that I think the song lost a verse or two). I was also thrilled they ditched “Run This Show” and “Bring Me The Face of Tammy Faye” which needed the boot. “Look How Far We’ve Fallen” was also greatly reduced, to the point of it almost not being there at all.
I would kill for a recording so I hope like many a flop, it at least gets preserved in some way, shape or form. |
