| Not at all! I really enjoyed it. Flawed, but fascinating, with a strong score (there are two powerhouse numbers that rival songs from any other original score in then past few years). I saw it twice. I understand that it's a hard sell on Broadway (in London it was at a theater a quarter the size of the Palace), but I found it way more interesting than the soulless jukebox musicals & movie adaptations that typically litter Broadway. |
