Idina performed a Redwood song later on, while on a float. Also appearances from Cole Escola and Ana Gasteyer promoting their shows.
Billy Porter performed Ease on Down the Road… from the recently closed Wiz. (Almost a Wicked tie-in but not quite.)
And lots of time for Color Purple veterans Cynthia Erivo and Jennifer Hudson. And Lea Solonga on the Sesame Street float.
So several Broadway tie-ins but three not four show performances as opposed to other years. (Instead, a circus act). |
