| It's a movie theater...people eat popcorn. I see about two movies every week in a theater and I almost never encounter people on their phones or checking their phones...yes, it happens occasionally...but for the most part, I find people to be respectful of the experience. And I've been to movies with rowdy crowds and they can sometimes be fun. It's a communal experience. I remember when my parents got to that age where they got cranky about going outside their house (drivers are crazier than ever, parking lots are unsafe, people in movie theaters talk during the film)....and I hope I never get to that age where I get too cranky to enjoy things in public. I mean, the CHOMP, CHOMP, CHOMP of popcorn? Do people midweek eat popcorn more quietly? |
