LOL about not knowing what a schlepper was. Without citing the specific example I have in mind of when not to rhyme with a character's name in a lyric, I think rhyming a character's name is inherently comic (or at least really calls attention to itself) and should be avoided in any lyric that is meant to be serious.
I had forgotten you saw Merman in Gypsy. I envy you. That's fantastic. And to have Merman right next to you. |
