| Disney+ is presenting on it channel and I am sure will be available for a long time, a brand new documentary made BEATLES 64 Friday the day after . It will include a lot of unreleased videos and photos never seen before. Why do I mention this.... here is the story. When the Beatles were making their debut in the US at Carnegie Hall. A few of my friends went to buy ticket and asked if I was interested in going and I said okay. This was before internet and you had to go buy them live at the venue. WHen they got there it was all sold out and they had just added a second show and got tickets in the first row. That wound up selling out too. Before the show there were announcements that getting out of seat photos etc were not allowed and you would be thrown out of the theatre and lots of security all against the stage. Everyone was screaming their heads off but not me and one of the security person asked if I had a camera and I said it was under my seat, he then said take it out its okay and let everyone know it was okay. I had taken 23 pix and twocolor shots. I was taking pix at Carnegie for NY Pops and I gave them a few copies of the pix for their archives. Eary this year I received an email from Carnegie if it was okay for them to give this company my email as they were doing a documentary and I said yes. Well it turned out there were no other pix anywhere except from the top balcony and Paul himself had no pix. They bought the color pix from me (actually there were no color photos from anywhere. It is in the documentary right after Paul was talking. Little did I know at the time that this documentary was produced by Martin Scorsese and that other producers were Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the family of the others and it would be on Disney+ with a full page ad in the Sunday New York Times. I can't wait. |
