11/18: Teeth -- Some Sharp Satiric Touches, but Overlong and Ultimately Too Silly for My Taste
11/19: Maybe Happy Ending -- Very Entertaining and Sweet New Musical w/an Original Score
11/20 mat.: The Beacon -- Excellent Mystery/Drama
11/20 eve.: Yellow Face -- Very Good, Thought-Provoking Play
11/21 mat.: The Outsiders -- Return Visit to a Very Fine Musical (which I didn't quite appreciate when I saw it in previews last March)
11/21 eve.: Hold on to Me Darling -- Fine Drama w/ a Commanding Performance by Adam Driver
Exhausting, rewarding trip. I drank lots of coffee and didn't get much sleep, but it was worth it. |
