| She is, in a very different way than the Glinda blueprint. It's a new take on the role, much more grounded in reality where others have gone for broad comedy in act one. But I think it really helps justify Glinda's story arc in act two since you can see every action is a calculated move. I would say it's almost a Regina George performance in a way and it really works. |
