It's been a long time since I've been up there. I thought I did remember restrooms, although small ones, but perhaps I just remember knowing that if I wanted to get into one during an intermission, I had to move really quickly to get to the nearest ones and have time to use it before intermission was over.
My memory is that the lower of the two seating areas on the top level is scarier because if you should tumble down the extremely steep stairs, you could theoretically go flying over (although probably not anymore with railings there, which I'm guessing were not always there).
One nice thing about the Met: The stairs are not terribly steep on those upper levels. At least that's my memory. It's been a while since I've been to the Met, and longer since I've been on the top level. |
