''It was one of the best plays I've seen in a while and I hope that it gets some love in June.''

I'm thrilled ''Great Performances'' is filming ''Yellow Face.'' I enjoyed it so much that I saw it twice (thinking I might not have another chance to see it again).

On second viewing, I was even more blown away by the entire cast, especially by Daniel Dae Kim, Ryan Eggold and Francis Jue, who won an Obie for this role in 1997.

By the way, I know Kim did a two-month stint as a replacement in ''The King and I'' in 2016, but I hope the Theatre World Awards recognize THIS as his debut.

If this ''Yellow Face'' airs in the spring, it'll be a timely Tony reminder, and this summer marks the 35th anniversary of the ''Miss Saigon'' casting controversy.
