I wouldn't buy a ticket but please note my fear was of retribution by the ghost of the late (and not universally lamented) Arthur Laurents - not to mention this and other boards being crowded with so many opinions and perhaps vitriol. There was a sincere wish expressed within however that noteworthy musical adaptations in the Spanish language be given some sort of showcase in New York by not-for-profits most likely. I think they could possibly be a draw and begin to interest a Spanish speaking population in the musical form. |
