| I wasn’t looking forward to the show and only went because it came up on TDF. I liked some of the cast but the book wasn’t funny and the show never seems to find the right tone. It is alternately campy and then unfunny and uninspiring. It was a mistake to bring the show here. A Brit’s take on American personalities doesn’t play well here. |
