| Saying that both of them have little to do with their stage sources is a little harsh, IMO. Can-Can is closer to its stage origins, while Blondes deviate pretty fairly. Of course, Hollywood treated literary classics in a similar manner. It doesnt make it right, of course, but it does make it the ways things are. |
