| So they couldn't do something that they have never done before - say, "Destry Rides Again" or "Greenwillow" or "New Girl in Town"? The are big chorus shows like "Wonderful Town" too. Granted, I love "Wonderful Town" and saw it with Donna Murphy at Encores, before it moved to Broadway. The star part in that leaves itself open to many wonderful comedic stars who don't have to have the greatest singing chops; maybe they'll get a doozy (in the best sense of the word). |
