Yes, I just saw that was on at the Theatre Royal. I believe she is playing Mrs. Railton-Bell in the TABLE NUMBER SEVEN half of SEPARATE TABLES along with THE BROWNING VERSION (which I don't imagine she is in since there's really no role for her).
With Maggie Smith's passing and Judi Dench's seeming retirement, Dame Sîan may be the last of her generation to still be treading the boards. I've only seen her once onstage as Madame Armfeldt in the NT NIGHT MUSIC (with Dench as her daughter!): so sinewy and elegant and memorable. |
