oh dear, that is quite an unsettling comment for people like me who are not only big fans of the musical but think it to be brilliant, and very ready for a film without changing much. It's one of my favorite musicals, and I think it's in the top 3 of what K&E ever did... I'd rank it at #2 even, below Cabaret but above Chicago.
The Chicago movie did mostly right by the show, I'm very frustrated to think that's maybe not what happened with KOTSW. |
