The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale has started preview performances this week at The Civic Theatre in Auckland. Enclosed is my review for the North American premiere that took place over the summer at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. The Auckland cast has many of the performers that were in the Chicago production.
