Hey there - I was in the audience for that wonderful Baker's Wife. What a terrific performance. Kuhn was magical, of course - but Michael was a perfect Aimable, David was likewise a great rival for him, and yes, Mary's beautifully sung "Chanson" set the tone for the whole evening. Michael Joseph's full orchestra was really the capper. There of course also was, later on, a great concert Follies (great performances, and OMG Len Cariou, though I remember the sound design was really iffy) and although I wasn't able to see it due to conflicts with a run of another show, what I hear was a phenomenal On The 20th Century. I wish Deb Poppel had been able to do more of these.
I've been here since 2001 as well. I'm glad you're still here too. :-) |
