Sting was stellar as he led a soldout 10th anniversary reunion of ''The Last Ship,'' his 2014 musical about a British shipyard, and it was live-streamed last night from 54 Below. Part of the proceeds went to Project ALS in honor of original cast member Aaron Lazar. Lazar, who couldn't be there in person, addressed the audience by video. Similarly, ''The Last Ship's'' leading man, Michael Esper, also had to offer his best wishes from afar; he's currently filming in Toronto. As a consequence, Sting quipped: ''I wasn't meant to sing every other f*cking song, but [our leading men] were indisposed, and I knew the songs.''

Sting sang terrific tunes from his Tony-nominated score, like ''What Say You, Meg?'' and ''The Night the Pugilist Learned How to Dance'' with Collin Kelly-Sordelet. I was disappointed that he didn't tackle the haunting ''Ghost Story,'' but as a surprise, he rocked out to a rollicking tune that wasn't in the Broadway show: ''Jock the Singing Welder.'' It also was wonderful to hear Rachel Tucker's beautiful voice caress ''August Winds'' once more. And the 10th anniversary reunion ended on a whimsical note as ''Last Ship''-mate Todd Horman sang Frank Loesser's ''Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat.''
