(New York, NY - November 4, 2024) – The producers of DRAG: The Musical are pleased to announce that Adam Pascal will join the cast as straight man Tom Hutchinson starting December 11, 2024, following Joey McIntyre's departure on December 9, 2024. The trailer for the critically acclaimed musical, written by superstar Alaska Thunderf*ck alongside her longtime musical collaborators, multi-platinum songwriter, Tomas Costanza, and chart-topping songstress Ashley Gordon, has been released. The production, directed and choreographed by Spencer Liff (Broadway: Falsettos, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Head Over Heels; Television: "So You Think You Can Dance") opened on Monday, October 21 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Adam Pascal is most widely known for starring as Roger Davis in the original cast of the Broadway phenomenon Rent, a role he has reprised several times throughout his career. Most recently, he has performed as Ryuk in the London Palladium's production of Death Note – In Concert and graced the Broadway stage as Edward Lewis in Pretty Woman: The Musical. On-screen, he starred opposite Jack Black in the blockbuster smash School of Rock, for which he also contributed to the soundtrack.

The cast also features Alaska Thunderf*ck as Kitty Galloway (through January 11, 2025), Nick Adams as Alexis Gillmore, Eddie Korbich as Drunk Jerry, J. In DRAG: The Musical, two Drag Houses, both alike in indignity, vie for supremacy in a wig-snatching journey of fashion, family, and forgiveness. After a bitter split, two estranged queens bring their already simmering tensions to a boiling point when they open competing clubs. In this queen-eat-queen tale of spite and survival, there's only one rule: no lip-synching allowed.

DRAG: The Musical is dazzling audiences and critics alike, bringing an irresistible blend of glamour, heart, and spectacle to the stage. The New Yorker raves, "Drag: The Musical delivers the goods! The band for DRAG: The Musical features Andrew Orbison (conductor and keyboard), Ariel Bellvalaire (guitar), Tyler Connaghan (guitar), and Jasmin Guevara (drums).

JUJUBEE (The Tigress) is thrilled to join this incredible cast in DRAG: The Musical. Best known for their appearances on "RuPaul's Drag Race." Jujubee rediscovered their love of live theatre with their critically acclaimed performance of Summer Raines in Death Drop in London's West End, Sister Maria Julie Andrews in the UK Tour of Death Drop: Back in the Habit, starred as Madame in Cinderella at North Shore Music Theatre and released "Queen of Hearts," a podcast where as host, she helps heart-torn strangers find love! Jujubee is ready to serve PURRRS as THE TIGRESS.

LAGOONA BLOO (Tuna Turner) is one of the most iconic pop acts to emerge from New York City this decade. With essential ear-candy hooks and a soaring three-octave range, her blissed-out synth anthems are redefining the intersection between pop and drag. In 2021, Lagoona dropped her debut EP, "AQUA." She has since developed an impressive body of work, including her hit single "Sticky Sweet" (with "RuPaul's Drag Race" alum, Lemon) and a cover of the iconic Vengaboys song "Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!" featuring "RuPaul's Drag Race" legend Alaska. In 2024, she dropped her first studio album, "Underwater Bubble Pop." Her music has been streamed over two million times on Spotify and placed multiple times on Spotify's editorial playlists "OBSESSED" and "Fresh Finds Pop." His musical composition "Appreciation to You" was featured in a special tribute concert in Boca Raton. ASHLEY GORDON (Book, Music, and Lyrics/Co-Creator) is a Los Angeles-based songwriter/artist/producer. She was raised by her loving grandparents in Long Island, New York. Published by PULSE Recordings since 2016, Ashley created a name for herself by writing and producing songs for indie artists. She has landed over twelve #1 albums on the iTunes charts with "RuPaul's Drag Race" royalty Alaska Thunderf*ck, Trixie Mattel, and KATYA to name a few. Ashley takes every opportunity to use her superpowers for good. In protest of the 2023 Tennessee drag ban, she wrote a theme song entitled "Drag Isn't Dangerous" for Producer Entertainment Group and Queer Town Hall's telethon, "Drag Isn't Dangerous: A Digital Fundraiser." The event raised over half a million for LGBTQ+ organizations that support drag and trans performers. As a champion of women in music, Ashley was invited as an expert correspondent in production and songwriting on CBS' all-female leadership in STEM television series, "Mission Unstoppable." Produced by Geena Davis in partnership with Litton Entertainment, the show encourages young women ages 7-14 to explore STEM-centric careers.

SPENCER LIFF (Director and Choreographer) is an award-winning Director and Choreographer with work frequently seen on both stage and screen. He has earned two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Choreography for his work on the hit FOX TV series "So You Think You Can Dance," where he has been a resident choreographer for the past 10 seasons. His other TV credits include "Dancing with the Stars," "B Positive," "One Day at a Time," "Parks and Recreation," "How I Met Your Mother," "Mike and Molly," "2 Broke Girls," "Alexa & Katie," "NBC's Best Time Ever" with Neil Patrick Harris (Choreographer & Co-Producer), "The Latin Grammy Awards," "The Emmy Awards," "The Oscars," "Steppin' Into The Holiday" starring Mario Lopez, and the upcoming Legendary Pictures feature film The Toxic Avenger. AURORA SEXTON (Makeup Design) is an accomplished creative artist, MUA, actress, producer and performer appearing across TV, stage, film and nightlife. A former pageant winner (Miss Gay USofA 2016, Entertainer Of The Year 2011), her professional credits include HBO's "Veneno," "Generation Drag," "Trixie Motel Season 2," "Translation" for OUT TV, West Side Story Burlesque, Love Among the Ruins, DRAG: The Musical and a host of music video & independent film projects with many of your favorite RuPaul's Drag Race alumni. Aurora has also worked with many of the industry's brightest stars including Cate Blanchett, Katie Musgrave, Margaret Cho, Paula Abdul, Joey McIntyre, John Roberts, JoBeth Williams, Peter Strauss, David Archuleta, Dylan Mulvaney and Nick Adams.
