Oh, I agree. It's a terrible, terrible substitution. Whereas "oh, monkey, monkey, monkey" sounds funny, "oh, bunny, bunny, bunny" just doesn't. There just has to have been another funnier sounding animal to put on that pedestal...
(This, btw, was based on the Boston production done last spring, which did incorporate new changes from the authors. I'm assuming "bunny" is permanent, though it may not be. But, for instance, now it's "Cold feet" not "feets" - and that's ok.) |
