| Yeah, I didn't want to yuck anyone's yum, as I'm sure it WAS a wonderful evening, but it is a slight shame that she didn't deviate a little more from her usual program given that this was her return to Carnegie Hall 30 years after her incredible Sondheim, Etc. concert there. I thought she might program for Carnegie, but it seems this was pretty much a typical Bernadette concert with the addition of the "Judy" moment for Anyone Can Whistle (which is a lovely touch!) I get the impression that she like to stick with what works -- sometimes for decades on end. |
