Yes.
A quintessential Tired Businesspersons Musical.
Book is faithful without being slavishly so.
Many hearty laughs from the insults hurled by Madeline and Helen.
Lighting and costumes are excellent.
Michelle Williams gets an epic entrance.
Quibbles:
Sound design is still murky in places, particularly the fast patter songs.
Helen's belle poitrine is distractingly artificial.
The opening number "If you want perfection" reminded me of the Candy Spelling quote about her estate, "It isn't home. But it's much." However judging by the shrieking of the people of around me, I was in the minority in not liking it. |
