More. For obvious reasons:

The benefit concert of Ragtime with most of the original cast. I had seen the original production on Broadway and enjoyed it, but the fact that we were missing Marin Mazzie and the performers were 25 years older, I was moved to tears throughout the beauty of the concert.

NY City Center's production of Titanic. Titanic was the first show I ever saw on Broadway, so make way for more nostalgia and history to add to the emotional impact of the show. That still counts, right? I remember tearing up towards the end of seeing the original Broadway production, but that was mostly due to knowing the fate of the characters. I did love it though. The NY City Center production had me crying throughout the whole show. I mean ugly crying. I don't remember being affected by "Still" in the original production, but Judy Kuhn and Chip Zien got me. I knew it was coming and they still got me.

Of course, the fact that Ragtime and Titanic became two of my favorite Broadway shows (next to LaChiusa's The Wild Party), I'm sure helped. :-)

Take care,
Jason
