"The Next Ten Minutes" on the album stopped me in my tracks. I've heard this song but never HEARD this song before. Shoshana Bean's performance and vocals are next level. JRB's acting is so committed I forgive the strains and reaches: It's all in character and emotionally full and truthfful. Also just sweeping orchestrations. Highlight of the album for me.
Oh, and I believe Katrina Lenk would have made a terrific Witch in the ITW revival. I like her Eartha Kitt-esque spin on the witch. |
