| The money goes to the school, which is both unaffiliated with the church and also actually a worthwhile cause. The church owns the building and thus has the right to do this ugly thing even though they never has invoked that right (until now) in the long time the theatre has been there. This is not the same situation as the Sheen Center, and I don't think the company is wrong in this case. I am pretty sure the school pays rent to the church untethered to the income so I am pretty sure the theatre company is not giving money to the church. |
