| I remember seeing that incredibly touching first time singing on TV appearance she made on Jack Paar when she sang "Til There Was You." (Yes, I am old enough.) She was so nervous that Phil Ford, who I guess thought he was out of camera range, knelt beneath her and off to the left of her, holding her hand for at least part of the song. Yesterday I spent about an hour hoping to find that clip somewhere on the internet but couldn't. Does anyone remember this moment? Or was I dreaming? Am I still dreaming? IF anyone does find the clip of this, please do post it. Like I said, maybe I am dreaming, but it certainly is a beautiful dream to keep. |
