but Nine has never sounded better than on the London concert album starring Jonathan Pryce, Elaine Paige, Ann Crumb, Montevecchi and more.
Except for Pryce - I really don't like his sound at all.
But the choral work, yes. Even though it includes male voices. There's an extra descant added to the last big "Kyrie Eleison" chorus in "St. Sebastian" that soars wonderfully over the rest of the ensemble - really wonderful. |
