(New York, NY) – AKW Productions is thrilled to announce that through the ongoing partnership between Broadway's HELL'S KITCHEN and the Alicia Keys co-founded organization KEEP A CHILD ALIVE (KCA), through which a $1 donation is made for every ticket sold, a landmark donation has been made of $1,000,000 to date.

At last night's performance of HELL'S KITCHEN at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street), Keys joined the company on-stage, alongside Antonio Ruiz-Giménez (KCA Executive Chairman and CEO) to celebrate this milestone and the impact of the partnership thus far.

Photos and b-roll footage from the evening are available here.

Through the donation program, along with generous matching donations, this initial donation from HELL'S KITCHEN will allow KCA to reach 18,250 children and make a profound impact in various areas:
•Feed 236 children for a year in Eswatini.
•Provide 2,430 children in Rwanda with HIV healthcare.
•Provide 1,430 children in Tanzania with education.
•Provide 100 rural vulnerable high school girls in Malawi with school and uniforms.
•Support 167 children with disabilities in South Africa.
•Rescue 4,746 children in South Africa, who have experienced rape and sexual abuse.
•Provide 3,097 premature babies in Tanzania with life-saving care and holistic treatment.
•Provide 5,661 children living with HIV/ AIDS, with HIV healthcare, ration relief and education in the slums of Pune, India.
•Empower 383 orphaned youth in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Eswatini, giving them the tools they need to have housing, food, education, healthcare and more to get them out of poverty.

The partnership does not stop with this initial donation but remains ongoing throughout the run of the show. The contributions made to KCA thus far are made possible because audiences continue to come out to see HELL'S KITCHEN.

As Keys shared in her remarks, "And that's just a small part, of what you being here tonight means. This is the impact that you are making. This is just the beginning! We are not slowing up—this is the power of this show, this is the purpose of remembering where dreams begin. And I just want to thank you for being a part of this moment. Keep giving, keep loving, keep coming!"
