I see that the orchestra for Sunset has 18 players, which is one more than the West End production, but less than the 19 minimum for this theatre. I can’t believe they’re eligible for special circumstances, as the orchestration was written for 24 musicians originally.
Anyone know why this show is missing a player? I always thought the conductor doesn’t count towards the minimum (and is this case, the conductor is not billed as playing a keyboard or something similar.) |
