| So sad to hear this, she was forever young. I met her a few times, once at an event at Barnes and Noble and she could have been nicer and then, The Bistro Awards. I have know three Mitzi's, Mitzie Welch who with her husband wrote special material for Carol BUrnett and was responsible for her fame with "I Made a Fool of Myself over John Foster DOuglas. She was a great singer and standby for Carol in FADE OUT FADE IN. There was MItzi McCall half of the team of McCall and Brill who her debut on the ED Sullivan Show the night the Beatles made their debut, there's a story about that she passed away last month.. And now Mitzi Gaynor, things come in threes. RIP |
