| On the latest Marks & Vincentelli podcast, Wegman, Executive Director of the NYU Skirball Center, says this about the forthcoming production: It will use only the script and songs of the original production since they’re now in the public domain and Herskovits can do what he wants with them. It will be the story of the United States from steam power to electricity and will cover the Great Migration to Chicago. It will start on a show boat and end on radio. |
