I used to do this all the time as a teen in the 70s. Only had a problem once, when a house manager chased me out of the 46th St Theater, when I tried to second-act BULLY.
Perhaps it's part of the general security tightening post 9/11. In 2012, when I went to see VIRGINIA WOOLF at the Booth, I took a stroll down Shubert Alley during an intermission. I dawdled and had to sprint back into the lobby. I thought security was going to tackle me lol. |
